I’ve heard from a number of iPhone 11 Pro users that their battery health is dropping quicker than usual. I got mine on launch day and it’s at 98%. That’s weird. I’ve had other iPhones that would be at 100% for like 10-12 months. It’s also weird as I’m basically cycling the phone battery far less. I never use it all up during the day. All iPhones have a specification for the battery. For the XS Max that is 3174 milliampere-hours (MaH). So the battery monitor is calibrated for 100% at that value. But there are variations in manufacturing, so some batteries will have less capacity, and some will have more. Suppose your battery had, say, 3374 MaH capacity. Starting this year and until December 31, you can get a battery replaced once for $29 ($69 for the XS, XR, and XS Max), whatever the health, for an iPhone 6 or newer model. In January the prices are going up - to $49 for most phones, $69 for the X, XS, XR, and XS Max, and $79 for anything older than a 6 - but Apple hasn't said if there will be Put Auto Lock On (1 min):- with low power mode it will be 30 Sec. Put Auto Answer Off. Disable Push notifications for apps you do not use often. Enable Auto Brightness:- Settings > General > Accessibility > Display Accommodations > Auto-Brightness [Enable] Manually lower brightness from Control Center. Because batteries are consumable objects that lose capacity as they are used. The battery in an iPhone is designed to remain above 80% capacity for 500 full charge cycles. Each time you charge it the battery will lose a small amount of capacity. It’s capacity will drop about 1% for each 25 full charge cycles. I’m on 100% even after 2 years. It started going down to 96% and after the battery recalibration feature, it went back to 100%. The battery is slightly worse than when i got it too. imissblockbuster1983 • 2 yr. ago. Same I bought my iPhone 11 Pro on 9/2/20 and it’s 12/17/21 and I hit 79% battery life this morning. You can check your Battery Health by going Settings > Battery > Battery Health. As far as Apple is concerned, anything over 80 percent is good. Also, according to Apple, like other iPhones, the It was reported earlier that some iPhone 11 Pro Max units were showing a decline in the battery health capacity. While the battery health capacity was 100% for some users, others were reporting that it dropped to 97% and below. However, Apple claims that iOS 14.5 fixes the said issue as it includes an update for the battery health reporting system. 11. Kelevra712. • 4 yr. ago. Same. Running iPhone 11 Pro Max on 13.2. Pre Jailbreak battery cap was listed as 97%. Post Jailbreak its back up to 100%. When I Reboot my phone to go back to a non-jailbroken status, the battery cap is still at 100% (not complaining, but would like to know whats 'real' :P) meccanikal. Just don’t let your phone get over 90% and under 10% charge like ever and you won’t have any problems with battery health. Try to keep the charge around 50%. And of course you have to practice battery hygiene which means not plugging in your phone all night. It’s really not that hard especially with fast charging. 8P8T.
