they just circle my base round and round and round but dont land. ive tried having 2 landing pads 4 landing pads 1 landing pad ive tried moving them. nothing works why wont they land? its so annoying they just go round andr ound and round driving me crazy
Terrain regenerated a little bit over my landing pad but I was able to clear it out with the terrain manipulator and so far it hasn't returned. However when I started building down, I noticed that two cuboid rooms down terrain started to regenerate, with some terrain only being able to be cleared with the terrain manipulator.
Things are kind of fucked up right now for NPC ships (it used to be way more interesting and worked much better) but most early base builds always had a lot of landing pads - just so you could park on one (no launch fuel required to launch from launch pads) and NPCs altered their course through the skies to come visit you.
Just bring it up a little before touchdown, this should also reduce speed in an almost automatic manner. It also feels like you can't hover over your desired landing area anymore - you have to slowly fly towards it with the mentioned nose tilt and press land. It#s strange but manageable. #11.
I have two landing pads and two markets and my current choice is either a market or landing pad. I put my foot down! No more! I think HG will address this in the future. I can't imagined that they envisioned a bunch of settlements that consist of markets and landing pads. My settlement is S-class and doing just fine.
yes, but they never take the last landing pad available (in case you want to call in a ship) so if you plan on parking your ship, you need at least Three landing pads for an NPC to land. Yes, but only if you have 2 or more. Is there reasons for NPC's to land at your base?
Having a second pad helps. On the 100 hour mark, a more complete base! I'm surprised how well it looks for winging it. Showing of ships, with middle being S Class. A Screenshot of No Man's Sky. By: MechWarden. Have 3 setup like this practically guarantees they land on either end, and only one lands at a time.
It's not clear the player-made landing pads were really designed with the player ship in mind (ridiculous I know), because NPC ships don't seem to be able to figure out when there's an available one if you have more than one. 9 times out of 10 they circle forever wanting to land on the one pad your ship is on, no matter how many empty pads
Bethesda please update the large landing pads with snap points for the Outpost Airlock doors!! I just want to land my ship at the outpost landing pad and walk threw the airlock into my base. knighttemplar1960 Feb 9, 2022 @ 4:42pm. At one point in time there was an issue with all the landing pads in a space station being full when a player tried to enter and that caused a bug/crash. The devs solved that by having all the ships in the space stations leave as a player is entering. So that happens every time you enter.
